Cloudphone

The phone system underneath everything — numbers, routing, recording, and the end of voicemail.

CallableCloudphone is a full business phone system in its own right — numbers, seats, hunt groups, autodialling, insights — built for teams that live on the phone. Your people use it like the phone system they always wanted; your AI teammates work the very same lines. It stands alone as a product, and it's also the telephony layer everything else in CallableAI runs on.

Hunt groups and AutoDial

Hunt groups ring your team the way you choose — in sequence, all at once, or by skill — with a Specialist as the safety net at the end of the chain, so a busy team never means a missed call. AutoDial powers your human team through call lists automatically: the grind of outbound, minus the finger work. Both are managed in plain English: "ring the brokers in order, then Ivy."

Numbers

Bring your existing numbers across via standard porting (your callers notice nothing), or create new local numbers instantly. Most businesses run both: ported main lines plus tracking numbers per campaign or ad channel, so analytics can attribute revenue to source.

Routing

Routing rules decide where each call goes, evaluated in order, using whatever the call gives you:

  • Line — the number dialled (main line vs campaign number vs direct line).
  • Time — business hours, after hours, public holidays.
  • Caller — recognised customers can route to their account manager; VIPs to a mobile; unknown numbers to a Specialist.
  • Intent — what the caller actually says. "I want to pay an invoice" and "it's flooding right now" go different places without a phone-tree menu.

The universal backstop: if no human answers within your threshold, a Specialist does. On a CallableAI line, ring-out isn't a possible outcome.

Your team's phones

Everyone gets the CallableAI app on mobile and desktop — their line rings wherever they are. Existing SIP handsets can stay if you're attached to them. Live-listen, whisper, and transfer work from the same app, which is also where humans receive warm handoffs from Specialists, complete with a spoken context summary.

Recording and retention

Every call is recorded and transcribed by default, with consent handling configured for Australian requirements per state. Transcripts are searchable from day one; retention windows and access permissions are set under Settings → Compliance. If a caller requests no recording, saying so on the call flags the recording for redaction automatically.
