CallableAI · Models
A turn-taking model built on real conversations.
CallableAI Mockingbird is our own turn-taking model, in development. It is being trained on real inbound and outbound conversations to predict interruptions, score sentiment in real time, and tell an agent when and how to speak — rather than simply waiting for silence. It is now validating against live production call volume, but it has not shipped: it is not yet released, not available to buy, and no figure published anywhere on this site is measured against it.
Most voice AI waits for silence and then talks. Real conversations do not work that way — people overlap, interrupt, trail off and change their minds mid-sentence. Mockingbird is our own model for that problem, trained on real calls.

How it works
Three moves. That's the whole trick.
01
Predicting the interruption
Silence detection is a blunt instrument: it makes an agent either talk over people or leave dead air. Mockingbird is being trained to anticipate where a turn is actually ending, including the cases where a caller pauses mid-thought and is not finished.
02
Scoring sentiment in real time
How a caller sounds changes what an agent should do next. The model is being trained to read that during the call rather than in a post-call report, so the agent can adjust while it still matters.
03
Telling the agent how to talk
Not just when to speak, but how — when to press, when to back off, when to stop selling and hand to a human. Trained on what actually produced good outcomes on real calls rather than on a script someone wrote.
Capabilities
What it does all day.
Trained on real calls
Production inbound and outbound conversations, not synthetic dialogue or read scripts.
Predictive turn-taking
Anticipating the end of a turn rather than reacting to silence after it.
Real-time sentiment
Scored during the conversation, where it can still change the outcome.
Outcome-aware
Trained against what produced results, so the guidance is about winning the conversation rather than filling it.

No. It is now validating against live production call volume, but it is in development, has not been released, and cannot be bought. Nothing on this page describes a shipping capability.
Deployed white glove. Backed by an SLA.
CallableAI works with organisations that need quality, volume and compliance to hold at once. Bring us your requirements — we'll scope the deployment, the rollout and the SLA with you.
