Getting started
Getting set up: your first week on Callable
The recommended first-week path, from signup to your first overflow calls.
The fastest path to value is overflow answering: your phones work exactly as they do today, and a Specialist catches only the calls nobody answers. Most businesses have this live within an hour of signing up, and it's the setup we recommend for week one.
The first-week rhythm
Day one: create your workspace, teach your Specialist the basics, and make a few test calls until you're happy. Day two: point your overflow at it and let real calls flow. Days three to seven: skim every transcript in the review queue each morning — five minutes with coffee — and fix knowledge entries as you spot gaps. By the end of the week the corrections dry up and you'll have a 'caught calls' report showing exactly what would have been lost.
What not to do in week one
Don't port your numbers, connect every system, and launch an outbound campaign on day one. Nothing breaks, but you'll be tuning everything at once. The staged path builds trust in each piece before the next one leans on it.
