Hunt group
A hunt group is a phone system feature that rings a set of numbers when a call comes in to a single line, either in sequence or all at once, until someone answers. It is how a small team shares one public number without a receptionist manually transferring calls. In a system where AI agents and humans share the same lines, an AI Voice Agent can sit in the hunt group as a catch-all — taking the call only when no person picks up.
